GCC Delegation Rights of Nursing Worksheet

Worksheet of the first assignment is attached,
“Scope of practice assignment”. it needs to be filled out. I have also attached the 5 rights of delegation for reference.

The second part is a group assignment, I am assigned to do the RN portion. I have attached a template. Here is my group’s case scenario:

  • 75 y/o overweight middle eastern male
  • History of hypertension, smoking 1.5 pack a day for 40 years, hyperlipidemia
  • At telemetry unit 2 days post cerebrovascular accident (stroke)
  • Headache 5/10
  • Left sided weakness, numbness, tingling, difficulty swallowing, slight shortness of breath, slurred speech
  • Vitals taken
  • On IV Heparin to break down the clots and to prevent formation or clot
  • Pt has Acetaminophen (Tylenol) order for pain
  • Imaging and labs performed
  • Standing order for Warfarin 10mg tablet, once a day, by mouth to prevent blood clots and heart attack
